Default Tsunami simulation
Posts: n/a

I read through the entries on this forum on Tsunami related question. All of them were helpul. Thanks to all of you folks who contributed to the discussion.

I am looking at doing a 3-D NS simulation for tsunami propagation over a sea-bed terrain. I would like to know if any of you have experience in simulating such shallow-water waves as tsunamis using CFD. I would expect to predict the wave breakup height over various places of the coastal terrain.

Eagerly awaiting your responses.

Cheers - Danny

It happened to me to come across to this paper which is about Tsunami CFD simulation. I haven't read that myself but it might be a good point to start from.
