I am simulating airflow among several rooms, what BC should I set for a door between two rooms? I know I do not need to set any BC for the internal door. But I set the door BC anyway to make an easy calculation in Post.
Should I use an opening, static pressure=0,turbulence option: low (1%)? Thanks in advance. |

Thank. But I tried opening, inlet and outlet, none of them worked in CFX 5.7 for an internal door (CFX-Pre complained). After I deleted it, everything is fine.

you cannot have a boundary (like opening, or inlet) inside the domain!
If you want to monitor the variables or mass fluxes, you have to do it without the boundary conditions. matej |

Thanks. However, it would be nice if CFX allows such a "boundary" just for postprocessing purpose.
