user surface in post

force on user surface

I want to extract results from complex surface not defined as a boundary in pre. So I creat a user surface in ansys cdb format and import it in post. However, while I calculate force on the surface, the results seems to be wrong.

The surface imported in post has much more data points than original surfaces in res file. Then the same amount of data points as surfaces of res file is used, force is still different.

This time, I do a test.

I use the exactly origin mesh of a surface which is defined as a boundary in pre to creat a user surface. Strange thing takes place. Force on the user surface is different from which is calculated directly from the boundary surface.

I wonder if the interpolate or integrate function is down cause I am not familiar to it.

any help is appreciatedŁ®
