Hello all, with solid-solid interface boundary condition for multilayers materials, it is possible to take into acount thermal contact resistance ? if it's possible, could you tell me how to do it thanks in advance. Mohamed.

Hi,
There is no simple model for thermal resistance. I think it is under consideration for CFX 5.8 (no guarantees). For the time being, you may be able to insert an intermediate block with properties chosen to have the same thermal resistance. Just an idea. Glenn Horrocks |
