Source Terms

Hello Everybody,

I wanted to add source terms to momentum equations.(in all 3 directions). The problem with a standard porous media approach is they predict only the pressure drop,so through this source terms i would like to impose both pressure drop and change of flow direction in 3 directions by the addition of this source term i.e., once the flow comes out of the subdomain region flow should be able to travel in three different directions bcoz of this source added. Its a flow through perforated screens. What would be the best way to do this?

Thanks in advance Regards Rajan

Hi Rajan,

It sounds like you want to specify a "preferred" direction. Have a look at the Catalytic Converter tutorial. It shows you how you can specify a direction and the corresponding pressure drop in that direction.
