Default inlet CEL function k and epsilon

Hello all,

I am using a CEL function to impose turbulence kinetic energy (K) and dissipation (epsilon) at the inlet of my domain. (I am using the k-epsilon model). My problem is that when i check K and epsilon at the inlet in CFX-post, i get different value, particularly for epsilon.

Nico.

Dear Nico,

Are you looking at hybrid or conservative values?

Conservative values (solution values) are usually different than hybrids (user specified values). If the hybrid values at the speficic inlet are different than you expect, you should contact your CFX-representative because it may be a bug..
