Hi all , In the solidification problem, can any one help me how to implement the advection source term of energy equation by using a fortran routine? Indeed, (rho*delta_H*velocity*liquid_fraction) is not a CFX variable. Thank you in advance.

Hi,
An example implementation of solidiifcation is available with CFX-support people. Contact them and they wouldbe able to help out in the implementation. Note that you may not need a fortran to implement the solidification model. Only source terms in momentum and energy equations via CEL. Also you need to follow specific convergence strategy (Mass/energy under relaxation). |

Hi, I use CEL for implementation of solidification, bat, this note include the advection terme (gradient.rho*delta_H*liq_frac*velocity). I Think that, this is possible only by fortran subroutine, but I do not know how to do it.
