Dear all,

I have a problem with CHT simulation of power generator.

When I run the calculation, even before partitioning I get this error:

RUN DEFINITION:
Run Mode = Full
Solver Input File = CFX.def
END
SOLVER STEP CONTROL:
Runtime Priority = Standard
MEMORY CONTROL:
Catalogue Size Override = 1.2x
Integer Memory Override = 1.5x
Memory Allocation Factor = 1.0
Real Memory Override = 1.1x
END
PARALLEL ENVIRONMENT:
Number of Processes = 4
Start Method = Platform MPI Local Parallel
Parallel Host List = xwmlsomc0020*4
END
END
END
END

Couldn't initialise lpnquery library
lpnquery library has not been initialized

This run of the ANSYS CFX Solver has finished.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this issue?

Thank you very much in advance for your comments.

Best regards

I have no idea, but as the error occurs during parsing of the CCL I would suggest there is a problem in your CCL or simultion setup.

Hi,
I know this is a very old post but I just ran into the same error message and was able to solve it thanks to my CFX support guy.
The problem was a German umlaut (üöäß) in a Named Selection in Meshing. CFX Pre does not allow umlauts in its naming scheme but allows already named Patches without a warning.
So make sure to not use any special characters in your Named Selections.

Best regards,
Maxim
