Hey CFX users.

I'm looking at the integral of a value on a line by using the command "lenghtInt" in cfx-post. This line is parallele to my mesh (which is hexa mesh). The result I get depends on the sample I put for the line. This is strange because it's not when I put the highest number of samples than this is the best: it depends. And the values obtained fluctuate from 1% each other. (I have a residual of 10^-7) Somebody knows why?

Regards, John

Hi John,

Obviously if your line sample are coarser than your mesh then the differences you are seeing are due to the coarse sampling for the line.

As the number of sample points increases it should converge to a final value.
