how to create chart in CFX post?
 

Hello.... I need to draw time vs. drag and lift forces of a cylinder(3D-analysis) in a fluid media ... I make a plane cut along the longitudinal direction and using polyline I can get the forces just at the boundary of the cylinder in the fluid. But i dont know hot to make a graph of that forces depending on the different time steps... Can anybody help me?

Hi,

In CFX-5.7.1, create a new chart, and on the Chart tab select the Type <big>Time</big>. Then on the Chart Line tab you may chose the Method <big>Point</big> and plot the time evolution of a variable at any point you had already created,or the Method <big>Expression</big> and plot the time evolution of an expression.Note that these charts will only contain information at the time instants when the variables are available for CFX-Post.You may also create Monitor Points which will contain information at every time instant used by CFX-Solver.
