I just came across this error while trying to start a simulation and have no idea what it means. This only shows up if double precision is enabled, there are no problems without double precision
Does anyone have any idea what this means and how to make the simulation work with double precision? +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. | | Message: | | Signal caught: Illegal instruction | | | | | | | | | | | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. | | Message: | | Stopped in routine FPX: SIG_HANDLER | | | | | | | | | | | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ |

This is not an error I have seen before. And I do not know of anything which works fine in single precision but fails in double precision. So there has to be something weird about your specific setup.
Do you have any user fortran?

nope, i have a tube with a velocity inlet condition and a pressure outlet condition some walls and symmetry. i have done this test case many time before and this is the first time something like this happens. if it helps it fails directly after allocating memory

In that case I have no idea what could be wrong. All I can suggest is to set it up in CFX-Pre again and see if it happens again.
