Hi all I have done a CFD analysis (transient) of radial fan flow and got the pressure varition vs time data. i want to use this data for noie prediction. can anybody suggest me how fft can help in how to inreprete the same. Noise is to be predicted at a distance of 1 m from the point where pressure data is available. if any body has done similar work please let me know.

Hi,

Contact UK/German/Indian CFX-support office, depending on which region you belong to. They have done similar works. Particularly UK for the allesia projects. Lot of fortrans are available freely on net which use fft for these purposes.

Regards, test
