The FAQ talks about much more than just time step size. And anyway, do you need a time step smaller than 0.0001?

Also, have you turned off surface tension as I recommended?

And what are you trying to model anyway, and why do you want to model it?

Well the total purpose, is to obtain the base shear generated by the movement of the fluid contained in free surface. That's all, but it seems that I've done it very complicated.
If I have reduced the time steps and now nothing works.

Again, the FAQ talks about much more than just time step size. Please make sure you read it and consider what it says or you are wasting everybody's time.

How can I measure the maximum water level using a tool, I would prefer not to have to use only the view
I have already managed to create my model, I am in the stage of data refinement

In CFD-Post:

* Make an isosurface at volume fraction = 0.5
* Colour the isosurface by height (I assume that is y)
* Set the scale to local and the top of the scale is your peak height.

Or you can use the function calculator and the maxVal(y) function.

Thanks for the previous answer
I have generated the movement of the water in the tank with ovoid geometry, which is my objective of study.
Now I am looking for a way to find the time in which I must execute the simulation because the design codes use analytical expressions that use an acceleration to determine a horizontal force on the structure, but not the time when this acceleration acts on the structure .
How can I find this time?

I also have two concerns,
if the horizontal acceleration is set to (General-setup), then this acceleration would act on the mass of contained air and water, then, how the behavior of my fluid affects the fact that the air mass is accelerated.
The second is, when configuring the cover as a pressure outlet, there would be compression of my air mass due to the movement of the fluid because the upper entrance has a smaller diameter than the rest of my structure, promoting the compression of the air.

Please post the equations you are trying couple to.

I do not understand this question.

In a properly converged solution this will not happen. It will conserve mass, so the net flow in and out of the top will be zero at all times (assuming the fluid is incompressible, the container is rigid and the top is the only entrance).
