violet edges

In ICEM Hexa Iīm projecting edges to curves, why donīt they get green and get violet and the projection is also wrong?

One of the options when projecting edges is something like edge-surface. Then it becomes purple. Set the edge back to projecting to surface. Then project it to the curve again - making sure the only thing selected in the pull-down is project to edge.
