MPICH/RSH don't work

Help ! I can't get pass the firewall on windows xp, what can I do, I don't know how to grant permission. Please help !

Why don't you try to turn the firewall off?

Or perhaps try to grant access over the rsh service in the control panel. I'm not sure if it's available in a straightforward way.

Unless your machine is available for the internet (i.e., other pcs can ping yours) you can turn the firewall off. Anyway, granting service for rsh in a machine that internet sees, it's insanity.
