Greetings,

I´m about to start developing a cluster infrastructure for our University´s CFD lab and we are currently searching for best bang for the buck platforms solutions including.

MASTER NODE --> STORAGE ATTACHED TO MASTER SWITCHINGS (1GigaBit) SLAVES NODES.

for this solutions we are currently evaluating

SUN Opteron dual-core solutions.. (perhaps UltraSPARC based ones) DELL Poweredge (perhaps Itanium based ones) HP solutions.

I would be very grateful to hear any comments regarding your current setup or past-experiences.

Regards, Jay
