CFX versions

Please tell me what version of CFX do you recommend to use, which is more stable? I have a choice to use CFX 5.7 or 5.7.1. Or should I use earlier versions?

Re: CFX versions

Hi,

CFX 5.7 and 5.7.1 are both old versions. The current version is CFX10, and it has a lot of improvements over the older versions.

I know about Ansys Multipsysics ver.10. Are you sure about CFX 10? Where is CFX 6, CFX 7, CFX 8, CFX 9?

Hi,

Take a look at http://www.ansys.com/products/newfeatures/fluids.asp , "ANSYS has moved to a naming convention for CFX products that is consistent with the ANSYS 10.0 designation"
