Cylinder In Jet Flow

Hi, We are trying to model jet flow across a circular cylinder in a duct of varying size, and wonder if anyone has tried this using CFX. A problem we are facing is that after a number of time steps, the jet follows a trajectory offset from the cylinder (ala coanda effect ?) and continues to the wall where it splits up . We think that this is related to the asymmetry of the mesh about the centreline. Would a symmetrical mesh arrangement solve this problem ?

Hi; I hade a same case in Fluent. If u'r model is not axisymmetry try to solve it in 3D.
