Hello experts,
I'm trying to model a centrifugal impeller with stator blades (see image). I've read you can reduce calculation time with the use of symmetry. Properties model: Impeller = 5 blades Stator blades = 35 Pitch change = 1 (Frozen rotor interface) In my model I only used 72 degrees of the full model (1 impeller blade and 7 stator blades. My question is as follows: How do I model the impeller with the use of symmetry? If I use symmetry on the faces it will just mirror the component so I need a different commando. Thanks in advance. I think you will find that you use rotational periodic boundaries, not symmetry.
