Lift Force
 

Dear Colleagues,

I'm a Chemical Engineer(ing) student and I'm simulating a drone in CFX. I need to calculate lift force of this drone. I'm currently using this tutorial as a guide to my calcutations:

Basically, the boundaries are "opening" type and "force_z@drone" is used to obtain the lift force.
Is this the correct formula/method? If not, what should I use?

Providing the lift force is defined in the z direction then that is the correct CEL expression to use. Also the boundary surface named "drone" would have to be the entire outer surface of the drone.
