CFX: combustion with detailed chemistry

I would like to compute a 2D/3D laminar diffusion flame with real chemistry. The fuel is heptane with 55 chemical species and 250 reactions. On this matter we have made some experience with Star-CD, and we would be grateful to you to hear about similar experiences with CFX.

In principle this possible. However it is for any code very demanding to solve 54 species transport equations. I heard from similar project with CFX with methane. But there were only 13 species.

Hi, I0m Alessandro from Italy- Are you able to treat detailed chemistry within CFX? Can you give me some advice.. Wghat kind of combustion model do you use? Did you implement in made models (edc, isat algorithms etc..) Thank you in advance Alessandro
