Mesh: Import to CFX
I have no idea how to save mesh created in ICEM for CFX. I looked through tutorials. It is said to select OUTPUT tab and press button "output to cfx". The problem is that there is no such button in this tab

Hallo DAK56565656,

Which version of ICEM are you working with? (example: ANSYS ICEM CFD 5.0(CFX/CFD))...

regards, houman

Re: Mesh: Import to CFX
In CFX-10 you will find 4 sub tabs Under Output to export mesh to CFX,CFX-4,Tascflow and Ansys. If you donīt find it could be installation problem.

Re: Mesh: Import to CFX
You meant in ICEM 10? There are following buttons: 1) select solver 2) boundary conditions 3) write input 4) edit parameters

Re: Mesh: Import to CFX
First, you need to "select solver". Then "write input" file for CFX-Pre.

Re: Mesh: Import to CFX
In version 10.0 - look for Output > Select Solver > Ansys CFX. Once in CFX-Pre - Import Mesh and specify ICEM CFD as the format.

Re: Mesh: Import to CFX
I am sure you are into the ICEMCFD_CFD mode instead of ICEMCFD_CFX mode. You can get into ICEMCFD_CFX by add a argument -cfx after your command.
