reference pressure confusion

What is reference pressure in cfx. Is it absolute pressure. If it is absolute pressure then according to details in cfx Pabs=Pstatic+Pref. So, what is Pref. Suppose iwant to define pressure at inlet and my inlet condition is 3.75 bar then what should be given in ref pressure and for inlet condition what should be relative pressure.I have given ref pressure as zero and inlet pr as 3.75 bar. Is it right?

Re: reference pressure confusion

How to setup the P_ref, you should lookup the manul(it depends on your simulation)

If you want to set P_static=3.75 bar at inlet case 1:you can set P_ref=3.75 , and P_relative=0 case 2:you can set P_ref=0.0 , and P_relative=3.75 Notes: all the pressure values in results are refered to P_ref
