Hi i want to know that how convergence is achived in cfx.I have run a flow simulation but i vant understand.I have tried it for 100,200 to 1000 iterations.Iterations are completed but how to know that whatever variables i have got they are conserved or not?I am thimking that following options are avalable for me to check whether the flow is conserved or not.Pls anybody if knowing this then reply ,which option i should prefer. (1)IN post i can check mass flow rate at inlet and outletr and can know that flow is consereved if mass flow is same. (2) in out file by checking doamin imbalances.

Both can be used to check the conservation. If you have a converged solution, Mass flow in = Mass flow out & imbalance should be pretty small, usually less than 0.001%
