Does anyone know why in general hexa meshes are better than tets? its a lot easier to creat tets, but I am finding differences in the solutions

eventhough it is not always true, there are many reasons for it.

the biggest reason which never get mentioned is, the gradient calculations. Gradient calculations play major role in CFD solution, and gradient calculation in solvers is mainly done by green-gauss approach, this method is dependent on cell shape and it behaves better for hex cells.
