velocity components at blade tip

Dear all,

can any 1 help me with this. I am doing analysis of axial blower. I wanted velocity components such as meridional velocity, axial velocity and relative tangential velocity vectors. how can i get therer values in cfx. hope u help me.

CFX calculates velocities u, v & w according to your global coordinate system. You can tranform these velocities to meridional or tangential vel by creating additional variables in post. Check user manual if you aren't sure of how to create variables in post.

Hi, i dont see a specific meridional velocity in surface report or volume report. i only see radial, tangential and axial component.

That’s because you need to create a CEL expression for it first
