Hi all i am facing a problem to simulate a 45 degree wedge shaped section of cylinder which is 1000D in length. I did structured mesh and defined symmetry axis as a symmetry plane.Along with this i defined inlet velocity and outlet static pressure with symmetry on non parallel planes. Now my problem is: 1)When i am plotting U/Umean vs L/D it comes around 1.5 ,which is offcourse a casr for channel flow. And for cylinder it should come 2.0 Why CFX solver is not giving the correct solution to this problem. Please help me if certain modifications needed to this problem. regards
