In solver theory, while discusing the High resolution scheme, it talks about it not violating the boundedness principle. What does boundedness princple mean ? Also is Convection and Advection synonymous, if not what is the proper definition. Thanks

Yes, Advection is typically the British/Canadian (ok, maybe mathematical) equivalent of Convection found in most Engineering texts.
