Hi,
I simulate a multiphase flow with continous phase for air and water. I would like to know if there may have a dependence on the initial conditions even if I run a steady state simulation ? Thank you for your help it's appreciated |

Yes, it is possible to have a dependance on initial conditions, even for a converged steady state run.
For example, imagine the Coanda effect in a diffuser with separation. The jet can stick to one side of the diffuser or the other and converge in steady state in either configuration. Which one it sticks to depends on the initial conditions.
