high resolution or upwind
 
Dear Sir,

I want to simulate compressible in a pipe with CFX 10.0.

Which way is better, high resolution or upwind? Thank you in advace

Upwind is only 1st order accurate. Use high resolution if accuracy is needed.

use upwind to test the system, see the flow pattern first. Then use high reslution with the upwind.def file as initial value
