I'll avoid using hybrid mesh like this unless I have particular reason not to do so. Is hexa alone not enough for your problem?

Hi Sameer,

Just create a 2D mesh in Hexa, then revolve the mesh in the ICEM CFD Mesh Editor, specifying 1 element in the revolve direction. I believe MED will merge the nodes at the axis, creating prisms. If it doesn't, Pre may do so for you when it imports the mesh.
