Full Porous Model and Multiphase

Hi,

I have a simple doubt which I couldn't figure it out by reading the documentation: when I use the full porous model, CFX considers that the porous domain is a phase? So If I have a homogeneous mixture of gases percolating a porous medium I will a mulphase and multicomponent problem or I will have only a multicomponent problem?

CFX does not regard the porous material as a phase or a component. It regards it as a resistance to the flow. If you are doing heat transfer it will also regard it as a solid - but not a multiphase model.
