Default Batch job for different boundary conditions

Hi all,

I'd like to run a series of simulations to compute the flow rate vs pressure drop for some component. In other words, I have to vary the pressure value in the inlet boundary condition for the different simulations. How can I do this automatically, i.e. without building 20 or more .def files?

Thanx for your help

Martin

Hi,

You can use one def file and a different ccl file for each run, and update the ccl in the def file with the cfx5cmds command. The ccl file is a small text file, which incidentally allows comments so that is where I store extra information about my simulations, eg run number and a brief description.

This can all be scripted up in a batch file to run automatically.
