Hello,

short question: i just would like to know how to find a cell in the mesh from its number.

If you have the node number, you can use it to locate a point object in Post.

Sorry i didn't tell which software i'm using. I'm using the Hexa interface from Icem.

I don't have the node number, i only have the cell number.

Once you get the mesh to Mesh Editor (or opened as an unstructured mesh) you can create a mesh subset and add elements to that by node number or by element number.
