remesh in cfx

Hi, there,

Is any way to set "remesh" for each time step in cfx-pre or anywhere else?

Thanks.

Hi, I think there might be a possibility. I found an example in the CFX5-manual a long time ago about a ball deforming while it hits the ground. In this example the mesh had to be reread for each time step I believe to remember. Can't tell you more about it, but hope this helps a bit further.

Hi,

What are you trying to do? Deforming grids (but the same mesh topology), or do you want to do a complete remesh of the internal mesh from the outer boundary?

Hi, Glenn,

I just saw your response.

I am working on a problem similar to moving piston. When the mesh moves, it creates negative elements.

Thanks.
