Hypersonic flows -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Sile Guest Posts: n/a	Hello, I'm currently considering different CFD packages for modelling Hypersonic flow. I've seen validation of CFX up to Mach 20 or so but I would like to simulate higher speeds (30+). I have reservations about using CFX, as far as I can see it is pressure based and I can't find any information for very high Mach numbers. I am looking for some advice and was wondering if anyone has tried to use it for such high speed?? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sile
