How to extend the length of outlet by "trim outlet"?

2 Attachment(s)
Hi all,

I would like to do a 2D analysis for a rotor blade in a compressor, the quasi-2D mesh was built and I want to extend the length of both inlet and outlet of the rotor mesh, which provides a buffer zone.

I tried to edit the "A" value of the "Trim outlet" in the outlet button, which has around 0.16 for now and I typed a bigger value with 0.2. the thing is after that the turbogrid returned me an error message that

"WARNING
Failed to locate intersection at Outlet: HUB (intersection precision of 0.211039).
Trimming aborted.

WARNING
Failed to locate intersection at Outlet: SHROUD (intersection precision of 0.22698).
Trimming aborted."

I do not understand the error, is there anyone could help me fix that?

Thank you in advance!

PS: the screenshots for the error messages and the original mesh are attached, please ignore the error mesh with RED.

How to extend the length of outlet by "trim outlet"?

Hello
In TurboGrid three Domain are created. Inlet domain, Pasage and Outlet domain. When there is not enough space after TE, TurboGrid create only 2 domain(Inlet and Passage) or when there is not enough space before LE, TurboGrid create only 2 domain(Passage and Outlet). when you enter 0.2 for outlet trim, Trim position locates out of domain (downstream of passage) or outlet domain will be very small, therefore an warrning box is appeared and informed position that you entered are not available and Turbogrid locate this position at the end of domain passage, therefore you have only 2 domain(inlet and passage). For Extend inlet and outlet domain you must extend Hub and Shroud profile at upstream and downstream, respectively by BladeModeler or BladeGen Software.
