Default Multi Conjugate Heat Transfer
Posts: n/a
Hi, Im with a problem to solve and I wish to know the better way to go. I get a hot gas inside a duct (300~400oC) wich will transfer heat to its wall and so to an external ambient (30C) wich is next to another wall of concrete (300 mm thickness) and finally to another known ambient of air of 80C. I wish to know the maximum temperature at the concrete wall. I believe the radiaton will be the principal heat transfer from the duct to the concrete wall. Can it be done in CFX 10? What are the basic steps for that? I will get 5 different regions. Thanks for any response, regards, Lucio
