Hey guys,

When I compute my mesh in Ansys ICEM (17.2) using "Pre-Mesh" (Blocking) in the object tree the mesh looks good. But when I display the "Shells" (Mesh) they don't look good anymore and they don't show the proper mesh.

Maybe anybody can help me!

Did you make your pre-mesh to structure or unstructured mesh?

One screen shot (see attachment) show the structured mesh (“Pre-Mesh” is checked) and the other screen shot show just some “lines” (“Lines” and “Shells” are checked).

Right-click on pre-mesh and select convert to Unstruct Mesh and then select the replace mesh
