Heat transfer boundary condition
 

Hello.

I am currently working on compressor simulation and i have a fluid domain of one sector only.

For heat transfer modelling, I see external heat transfer coefficient and outside temperature.

So do I have to use heat transfer coefficient of external medium (outside of fluid domain i.e air or some other fluid) ? I checked the modelling guide and it seems its external heat transfer coefficient outside the wall.

Yes, you have to use heat transfer coefficient of external medium. And "far field" external temperature.
