inlet boundary

Hi,I am now simulating drop formation using CFX5.7. For the inlet I set "fluid velocity" boundary. But the fluid flows to upstream not down. If changing the boundary to "static pressure" and set the "relative pressure" to 0,the fluid can flow down. In this situation there is no drop formed, but a stream. I have stopped here for 2 weeks. Would you like to help me? If possible I'd like to email the files to you! Thank you in advance!

I have observed the same thing for my simulations. I don't understand why this happens and how to solve it!.

Re: inlet boundary

Hi,I set the velocity to a bigger value and the fluid flow down. If the vilocity have some relation to the pressure? Hope you can solve your problem and I'd like to discuss with you very much!
