Hello everybody,

can anyone tell me how I can calculate the pressure drag and friction drag seperately in CFX-Post. Up to now I only know to use the force_x()-expresstion to get the overall drag on my article.

Tanks a lot Andy

Hi Andy,

you can try in this way:

1) to estimate pressure drag you can calculate IntAve(AbsolutePressure)@[your model walls]

2) instead, for friction drag you can calculate IntAve(Wall Shear)@[your model walls]

Bye
