Hi everyone,

I am a beginner in ANSYS but I am managed to run my simulations.
Everything runs fine with the mesh, setup, and solver.
The solver finishes the simulations without any mistake but the following error message appears when (and only at that moment) opening the results visualization (also displayed in the file in attachment):
"The following unrecognised name was referenced: Velocity."
"Variable 'Velocity' is not valid in domain '/DATA READER/CASE:Case CFX/DOMAIN:agua'."
"Null pointer to m_geom."

Because of that, I can see all variables in all the solids domains but the fluid domains appears in grey and I cannot see any variable such as the temperature in these fluid domains (I have 3 different fluids).

Otherwise, the simulations seems to work properly as I have heat transfer between the different domains (because of some power sub-domains in some of the fluids and solids); inclusively between solids separated by one of the fluids that I cannot visualize.

Can you explain why these error messages and why the fluids domains appear in grey in the results section?

Thank you in advance,

It appears your results file is corrupt somehow. Can you post your output file?

dear ghorrocks,

thank you for your reply.

I have been with this problem for days but I fortunetly solved it right after my post: it seems that the sooner I posted, the sooner I would have solved the problem.

I simply had to reset and clear the generated results as I use to do with the solver. Such a stupid and simple answer!

Thanks to that, it now works!
