hi folks, have a problem extruding a mesh to achieve a section of a cylinder so that i can do a 2d simulation. i have tried to extrude by rotation prescribing an angle of 10° but this of course gives me a sector. i have tried to draw a chord and extrude along a curve, it doesn't help either. would like to know if somebody has experience with extruding 2d meshes for external flow around axisymmetric bodies like cylinders and cones. will be grateful for any ideas. thanks, ben
