Source terms in local coordinate frames

Hi!

I have two subdomains where I need to apply momentum source terms in the tangential direction. These source terms are dependent on the radius and theta values in the respective subdomains.

I have defined two new cartesian coordinate frames and applied these coordinate frames to the subdomains. Then using CEL, I have defined the source terms which contain r and theta.

Does CFX calculate r and theta for each subdomain separately? It doesn't seem so, coz my source terms are calculated fine for one subdomain, but not for the other!

Help!

Do you have a local coordinate system for each subdomain?

Dear CF,

The CFX tutorial says source term = source coeff (U - Uspec, etc. Could you please guide me how to calculate source coefficient, Uspec, Vspec, and Wspec for an axial flow fan? I am modeling a fan in completelt enclosed cabin as momentum source.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Amod Kumar
