Exporting Data From Polylines Automatically

Hi,

I'm currently running a number of pitching aerofoil CFD analyses in CFX and post processing the results in CFD-post. I have created a number of polylines forming a grid to map the x and y velocity across a particular area. It's all working fine if I export the data manually to a .CSV file for each line.

But due to the high number of cases to run it's taking a large amount of time. I was just wondering if it's possible to automate the exporting of data and save them to individual .CSV files for all of the polylines?

Any pointers would be much appreciated

You can do this using a CFD-Post session file. Record a session file of a bit of what you want to do, then use a text editor to edit the recorded session file to do the full task.

Many thanks for your reply. I'm relatively new to CFX/CFD so wasn't aware of this functionality. I will do some research and give it a try.
