Hi all,

I am simulating internal forced convection inside a pipe. The fluid has very large viscosity and its temperature is lower than pipe walls temperature. I set normal velocity at inlet and mass flow rate at outlet, but in coeficient loop iteration = 21 this messenge is shown:

+--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ****** Notice ****** | | While evaluating Temperature, | | Static Pressure on domain Dominio | | went outside of its lower limit. Its minimum value was | | -1.3035E+05. The bounds error was handled by clipping. | | If this situation persists, consider increasing the table range. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+

where Dominio is the pipe. This messenge is shown in next iterations.

any suggestion?

Thanks a lot

Miguel

Hi Miguel,

How does the temperature range of your boundary conditions compare to that of the table range you defined in your fluid properties? Also, did you specify a temperature at the wall, a heat flux or an external heat transfer coefficient?

Regards, Robin

Hi Robin, thanks a lot for your reply.

Temperature of my boundary conditions (50 C at inlet)are between table range of my material properties [200 K, 3000 K]. I have defined a constant heat flux across pipe walls.

Regards
