Inlet BC temperature

Hi, does anybody know why the inlet temperature of the fluid in CFX-Post differs so much from the settings in CFX-Pre. I set for the gas temperature T=1300K and in Post it is after 1200 iteration steps about 500K (conservative) and 1100K (hybrid). Is it important whether to choose "static temperature" or "total temperature" for the inlet bc temperature? Thanks in advance...

You can choose either one as long as you understand what they each mean.

Thank you! Now I found the explanation in "ANSYS CFX-Solver book" page 14-15.
