Thermal simulation
 

Hi all!

Which solver is the "best" (fastest) to use when doing thermal simulations, SST, k-epsilon etc? I want to do a transient run to see how the temperature spreads in the fluid in a pipe.

It depends. You need to first verify & validate your results against the experimental data or other published results. A single calculation with a single mesh is always undesirable, unless you have already known the outcome.
