how i can chart this along line towards two dire?

how i can chart this coordinate along this line towards two directions?

the X Direction coordinate is :there is a orign point=0, left side<0, right side>0.

my question is how that happen in CFX-POST? THANKS A LOT:)

Assuming that you are charting velocity vs position:

1)Create a Line (under Location) using 2-point method etc.

2)Create a Chart, Select Type "XY", Define position as X-axis variable & velocity as Y-axis variable.

thanks for your replying~!

sure,i creat a line using two points, and the X axis variable is the position along this line,~

but the problem is the "0" is the mid of the line, and the left side is negtive, and right side is positive,~

how can i deal with this? thanks a lot~

You want to shift the zero reference point to the other side of your line, don't you? If so, just create a new variable of say "Pos" and let the value be X+Xneg, where Xneg is the most negative value. Select Pos as your X-axis variable then.

yes,i get what you mean~!

thinking of that line,if that is a curve, should i apply that coordinate transform, ture the curve to line?

and what are these really about, should i find some papers or books to find out?could you introduce some for me,really thanks:)
